MORPHANT MOON (photomorph) & FULL MOON BOQUET (non-dream haiku series) by Roswila
FULL MOON BOUQUET
the caged bird kisses his reflection full moon

looking for space
to store the blankets
Moon When Ponies Shed

Moon of Making Fat

a bare tree
against the full moon
more than enough joy
[1 monoku and 3 haiku, all about 15 years old. I woke up singing the song "Full Moon and Empty Arms" which is what made me think of the first 'ku. But as I went about selecting other moon 'kus I just could not stick with that sad mood. BTW, the second and third poems above reference American Indian names for the full moon under which they were written. And the moon is full today; Flower Moon being one American Indian name for it. (All of these 'kus of mine have appeared here before individually at various times, but many years ago.) Photomorph "Morphant Moon" (5-2-16 003v2g) by Roswila]
There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers, as the above is), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
