[dream haiku pair, dreamed/written/posted October 2006. This pair has been heavily tweaked for this posting. I’d always liked the dream but never been all that happy with the writing. As it stands (pun intended) now, it more accurately reflects the experience of the dream. And as I’ve said here before, yes, I do often recall old dreams. Especially after reading some poem or other I’ve written about them. (I came across a dream haiku I wrote several years back on a dream that was 40 years old.) [dream haiku, dreamed/written Feb. 2007, re-posted today. I did some tweaking to bring it closer to the dream I recall; yes, I still recall it; some dreams are very "sticky". It's another of those from the review I was doing a while back of my ancient handwritten dream haiku notebooks.
