BUNDLES OF MOONLIGHT (photomorph) & "children in the surf..." (dream haiku) by Roswila

children in the surf
my two empty satchels
under the moonlight

[dream haiku, dreamed/written/posted June 2008. Never did really grasp this dream. But have always liked its ambience, even though I can read what’s happening as a loss or as a birthing. The dream memory is like that picture that when you look at it one way, it’s of two people in profile, looking at each other. And seen another way, the pic is of a chalice-like cup. BTW, this dream haiku is from that review I’ve been slowly completing of my ancient, handwritten dream haiku notebooks. Photomorph “Bundles of Moonlight” (Screenshots 3 10-16-10[9][2]) by Roswila]

PLEASE NOTE: in most browsers you can click on the above image for a larger version. Also, the photo accompanying a post is not necessarily meant to illustrate it, but to reflect some small, even slant or contrasting aspect of the verse, similar to Japanese haiga (illustrated haiku).

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.

* * * *
until next time, keep dreaming,
