WOLF MOON Haiga, by Patricia Kelly

Just took this photo tonight after dinner and wrote the haiku. What a fabulous sight! Even better was chatting with fellow residents as they stopped to gawk, too. (That's our pool below the tree and moon, BTW.) This Wolf Moon is the largest full moon of the year. It was even more spectacular as it slid behind the branches of that tree. But the photos I took of that phase didn't look quite right. I'm still learning how to hold the digital camera steady, much less what works and what doesn't. :-)

The camera is a sort of full-time loan. I'm now handling the total production of the monthly newsletter for the residence I live in, and have to have it with me in case any photo ops pop up. What fun! Not only to be learning how to use a camera and "frame" pictures, then edit them in Adobe Photoshop, but also to be able to take photos for my own personal use occasionally.

‘til next time, keep dreaming,
