WORLD WITHOUT SUN (photomorph) & "lullabye for Earth" (non-dream, scifaiku or senryu) by Roswila

lullabye for Earth

keep turning the sun will come ‘round again

[a scifaiku (non-dream) written 4-3-19. This can also be read more simply as a senryu: an image/comment on the human condition. Don’t think in either case it’s any great shakes. But it just blurted into my mind as I was sitting in the glorious sunlight and beginning to feel life is a possible thing so wanted to share it. BTW, there are differing opinions as to whether a scifaiku (or haiku) should/can be titled. I come down on the “no” side. However, in this instance the title adds something needed.
😊 Maybe I’m just being lazy, and could turn it into a full-on, 3-liner, incorporating the title. Then again, I like the monoku (one line) form, so I’ve left it as is. Photomorph “World Without Sun” (Old Pix/5-25-09 1726v13d) by Roswila]

PLEASE NOTE: in most browsers you can click on the above image for a larger version. Also, the photo accompanying a post is not necessarily meant to illustrate it, but to reflect some small, even slant aspect of the verse, similar to Japanese haiga (illustrated haiku).

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.

* * * *
until next time, keep dreaming,
