"shoo fly, don't bother me..."
it's not me you want anyway,
you're only after my dripping
ice cream cone; go find another
woman's sweet treat to dive
into and leave me in peace


[non-dream free verse poem written 11-9-18. And, yes, I became aware of the sexual allusion in this as I was writing it. It gave me quite a wry laugh. Initially, this was just about a very annoying and persistent fly after my ice cream. Photomorph "The Drip Goes On" (2985v4x) by Roswila]
