THE SUN HAS OUR BACKS (photo) & "hot sun burns ..." (non-dream haiku) by Roswila
hot sun burns my knees:
I wake and snooze, wake and snooze,
too lazy to move
[non-dream haiku written 10-13-19. Experienced while dozing in my favorite spot: on the balcony that’s outside the library of our retirement community, overlooking the pool. There’s always a chair there in the corner, in which I sit with my walker pulled up in front of me like a little desk. Photo “The Sun Has Our Backs” (ss-3 10-15-19[30]) by Roswila; BTW, I mentioned here or on my other blog recently, that the number in brackets – here it’s 30 – indicates the number of previous versions I made of that same pic; however, here it simply means it was the 30th different pic of mine that I made a screen shot of that day … too much to explain … ]
There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
