EVEN THE MOON CAN'T HACK IT (photomorph) & "the villains! ..." (old dream haiku) by Roswila

the villains!
they’ve closeted the full moon
lunatic fringe

[haiku dreamed/written January 2004. Again, one from my on-going review of my old dreamku. It’s been slightly tweaked to make it a little more dramatic. I recall this dream and the original version of the ‘ku didn’t get the dream’s intensity across. This one’s better. And, yes, this is following along with the theme of the full moon that I started in yesterday’s post. The past several days leading up to the Hunter’s Full Moon tomorrow have been a b---h. I’m in one of the worst episodes of PMS (pre-moon syndrome, as a friend called it) I’ve ever experienced. Hm, I just hit on a way of understanding this puzzling little dream: holding back the full moon would be horrible for me, as it’s the days before one that make me crazy. Once it’s here -- once it’s outed, so to speak :-D -- I start feeling a bit more sane. Photomorph “Even The Moon Can’t Hack It” (ss-many 2-9-19[8]) by Roswila]

PLEASE NOTE: in most browsers you can click on the above image for a larger version. Also, the photo accompanying a post is not necessarily meant to illustrate it, but to reflect some small, even slant aspect of the verse, similar to Japanese haiga (illustrated haiku).

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.

* * * *
until next time, keep dreaming,
