EVERYTHING'S TENUOUS (photomorph) & "coulda lived better..." (dream-based little poem) by Roswila

coulda lived better
coulda lived a whole lot worse
life is in the “is”

[I was chanting these lines in a dream of 3-17-2008. I re-post it today as a much needed reminder to stay as much as possible in the “is.” And not to forget that I’ve been neither as “good” a person as I might have wished, nor as “bad” as I’ve feared. BTW, after some thought back in 2008 as to whether this was a dreamku, I decided it is more appropriately called a little poem. Though there are those who might disagree, as it really is more an aphorism. In any case, it teaches too clearly and evokes too little to be a dreamku. Funny thing is, as I sat more with the memory of the dream the day I wrote this, I think I was actually trying to write a song in that dream. :-D Photomorph “Everything’s Tenuous” (Screenshots 2-4-19[5]) by Roswila]

PLEASE NOTE: in most browsers you can click on the above image for a larger version. Also, the photo accompanying a post is not necessarily meant to illustrate it, but to reflect some small, even slant aspect of the verse, similar to Japanese haiga (illustrated haiku).

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.

until next time, keep dreaming,
