THE BALL HAS LOST ITS BOUNCE (photomorph) & BIBBLES 'N KITS (mixed format dream poem) by Roswila
BIBBLES ‘N KITS
the only word that comes
to mind for the little bits of food
we’re spreading around?
“kibbles,” and then the dream gets goofy,
like that old ad with a loopy talking dog,
repeating and repeating it in a spoonerism:
“I gotta get me some bibbles ‘n kits! bibbles ‘n kits!”
the silly words bouncing around the dream like
those colorful balls we’d follow as little kids
to sing along (or not) with early morning T.V.
cartoons, after a night of equally daffy dreams
[a tanka with three two-liners on a dream of 4-22-19. A nice break to have a silly dream. Photomorph “The Ball Has Lost Its Bounce” (10-27-15 034v3g[2]) by Roswila]
There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
