THINGS PILE UP (photomorph) & INTO THE PICTURE (free verse dream poem) by Roswila
INTO THE PICTURE
the slices of black and white
fall down the cover
of the book handed to me
like leaves from a tree
shaken in a storm
the small pink bow and trailing
opalescent garland I stick
on the upper right hand corner
insinuate themselves gracefully
into the picture like a bit of sunrise
ah, yes, not even this given's
totally unalterable
[free verse poem on a dream of 11-27-15. Photomorph "Things Pile Up" (5-18-11 11002t) by Roswila]
There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers, as the above is), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
