WHITTLING AWAY THE NIGHT (photomorph) & WHAT IMMENSITY (non-dream free verse poem) by Roswila
WHAT IMMENSITY
dried and yellowed willow leaves
litter grass, sidewalk, and street
like wood shavings,
as more crisp crescents fall:
what immensity
is being whittled into shape
in the over-hanging shadows?
[non-dream free verse poem written 6-20-17. Another written while sitting beneath one of those old willows I love. Photomorph "Whittling Away the Night" (5-27-17 016v2) by Roswila]
There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
