HILlARY'S* A HILL

Hillary's a hill all by herself:
hugely pregnant and seemingly
going into labor; her husband panics,
which she finds amusing,
especially as her contractions
turn out to be Braxton-Hicks;**
she leaves him in the reception area
while she ambles placidly around
the large office of a business
owned and run by two women;
when she goes into labor for real,
her husband manages, albeit
with great effort, not to panic this time;
Hil waddles off to tell the female bosses
that she's in labor and has a bit
of a time getting their attention;
their attitude appearing to be that
whatever is going on, Hil will
handle it, doesn't she always?


[narrative on a dream of 7-28-16. I'd listened to *HilLary Clinton's nomination acceptance speech at the DNC only hours before dreaming this. **Also known as false labor.
