DEMANDING (photomorph) & SWADDLED (non-dream free verse poem) by Roswila
SWADDLED
how does one hobble on
swaddled tightly by the weight of one’s history,
as one of the many wrinkles left behind or another
(and often many at once) wriggles, crying,
demanding attention,
like an infant still
incapable of taking care
of itself
[non-dream, free verse poem written 2-27-19. Photomorph “Demanding” (9-28-18 011v11[3]) by Roswila]
There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
