this image both haunts
and encourages her, as well
as making her laugh:
that power from her fingertips,
this time, blasting invading worms

all that repellant
grossness, readily turned to dust:
would that what deeply
disgusts her about herself
were disposed of as simply


[two tanka on a dream in early October 2018 during blog break, but written yesterday. Not my first dream with power radiating from my hands. If I remember correctly, many years ago I dispersed a terrible storm using power radiating from my palms. LOL! Talk about wish fulfillment dreams!
