WHAT CAN BE MADE OF THIS? (photomorph) & SCULPTING (free verse dream poem) by Roswila
SCULPTING
yes, I know, I know, she says,
it's an awfully weighty mix
with which to sculpt a life,
as she molds the wet mass
between her still strong
and agile fingers,
slapping it heavily
down with each change
of perspective she tries
he smiles, amused, as if
indulging a favorite child:
OK, OK, but that's only
because you're not folding
any air into it at all
[free verse poem on a dream of 7-13-17. Would not have given that famous red cent I'd have a dream like this last night. I went to bed in one of the worst states of mind I've been in in ages, and that's saying something. So, once again, I'm grateful to the dream world. Photomorph "What Can Be Made of This?" There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
