TEARS FROM TOMORROW (photomorph) & YOU'D THINK (free verse dream poem) by Roswila
YOU'D THINK
you'd think her carefully silk screened sweatshirt
bore horrendous images the way folk
turn away from her
but it only conveys the many faces
of young children before they were abused,
unscarred, innocent faces all
yet one woman won't even let her join them
at the large dining room table,
objecting strenuously to "That sweatshirt!"
as if the silence of these lambs,
exposed en masse,
hurts her delicate ears

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers, as the above is), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
