SORROW'S IMPRINT (photomorph) & LOVE ME KNOT (non-dream scifaiku series) by Roswila

(a scifaiku series)

whom the Gods would punish
bottles of sweet liquid love

cross vampire his new romance has no bite

* * * *

life tied up as a Gordian love me knot

* * * *

all I'd wished for
including his heart on a platter
his blue LED eyes

* * * *

the end that never comes
crushed by the constant weight
of your ghost

[non-dream scifaiku series, dates written are below each. Click here for info on scifaiku. There's also a really good on-going Scifaiku group on Yahoo. I didn't start going through my scifaiku master file with any particular subject in mind. In fact, the only one I was originally thinking of posting was my newest, a silly vampire one. But, much in the way of dreams, a themed series emerged as I went along. Photomorph "Sorrow's Imprint" (4-21-15 004v3q) by Roswila]

PLEASE NOTE: in most browsers you can click on the above image for a larger version. Also, the photo accompanying a post is not necessarily meant to illustrate it, but to reflect some small, even slant aspect of the verse, similar to Japanese haiga (illustrated haiku).

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers, as the above is), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.

until next time, keep dreaming,
