SHADOWS ON THE MOON (photomorph) & ON CYCLING (free verse poem) by Roswila
ON CYCLING
ah, yes, the moon just shy
(ignoring that word's
other meaning) of full, rolls
blissfully along, straining against
her containment
little knowing that such blatant
fullness invites deflation
a slow leaking that ultimately
leaves a dark impression
of nothing
[Free verse dream poem written 8-27-15 that's (at least in part) about the absence of clear dream recall last night. An experience I often have when the moon is just about full. And it'll be full in less than two days. Photomorph "Shadows on the Moon" (8-18-15 005v7b) by Roswila]
There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers, as the above is), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.
