STRIP TEASE

totally undress the dream
and what you end up
sitting still for
simply jiggles awkwardly
around the stage
in the harsh glare
of the footlights

but leave it draped delicately
in softly morphing images
and you may enjoy
a mesmerizing
dance of the seven veils

after all
the art of a strip
lies in the tease
