Dad's remembered voice:
"Lift your feet when you walk, Sis"
as I trip again
the grey carpet too close
to my stiff arthritic step


[non-dream tanka written 5-21-14. In my FOO (love that acronym for "family of origin") I was called Sis or Patty. Dad was the one usually using Sis.
