TOEING THE LINE

first date and first dance
two young virtual strangers
waltz through the garage –
alone and sans music
they follow each other’s lead

the flowing shapes their
arms, legs, and arched backs create
well-placed and artful,
with barely a hitch each time
one steps on the other’s toes
