THE SKY IS FALLING (photomorph) & FALLING (non-dream, haiku-monoku pair) by Roswila

FALLING

version 1:

a sudden shower
of jacaranda blossoms
grateful tears

version 2:

falling jacaranda blossoms grateful tears

[haiku and monoku (very simply put, a one line haiku) version on same experience, written 7-7-19. Can’t decide which I like more and even how much I like either one of them as writing. But it was a lovely moment. All the more lovely as it happened on a long walk. It looks as if I will be able to keep up regular walks, after all. I did try making the fact I was on a long walk explicit somehow. Yet, it just didn’t feel right as it narrowed the possible scope of either little poem when I did so. Photomorph “The Sky Is Falling” (6-28-09 v5b) by Roswila]

PLEASE NOTE: in most browsers you can click on the above image for a larger version. Also, the photo accompanying a post is not necessarily meant to illustrate it, but to reflect some small, even slant aspect of the verse, similar to Japanese haiga (illustrated haiku).

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.

until next time, keep dreaming,
