OUT OF NOTHING (photomorph) & BUSKERS (free verse dream poem) by Roswila

BUSKERS

an odd man (or is he a woman?)
recruits her into his group
(visualize a Fellini-esque band of buskers)

they want her pretty face for a photo shoot
they're planning, and start working
busily around her head

she begins to think she's been suckered again
when they pry beneath the shiny metal rings
spinning around her brain cage

revealing a resounding emptiness, a hollow
where most folks' brains would be, yes,
she thinks defensively, I'm quite the air head

but then finds she's actually very relieved
to be exposed, Saturn-like, with all these rings
spinning smoothly around emptiness


[free verse poem on a dream of 4-6-16. The major association for that Saturn reference is to my astrology sign (my sun is in Capricorn, which is ruled by Saturn). Basically I think this dream/poem is another on the theme of "not knowing." And is, therefore, rather positive. Photomorph "Out of Nothing" (3-28-16 008v2a) by Roswila]
