IN A TRICE

doors open and shut
in the distance -- sunlight glides
across the garden

* * * * * * * *

that noisy old crow!
he's taken my train of thought
right along with him

* * * * * * * *

sporting the sky
and my delight in their fronds
palms palms everywhere

* * * * * * * *
