[two non-dream based haiku and a monoku, written 6-25-15. Yep, fresh out of the little notepad that goes everywhere with me. Probably should let them settle in a bit before posting them. I know how often I see tweaks that need to be made once my writing cools. I'm especially wondering how I'll feel about that simile in the last 'ku. They're rare in haiku tradition. But it was such a lovely day and even lovelier overall experience that I'm running on high octane enthusiasm. Could also have to do with having taken an exercise class before sitting in the sun (yuh think?). Photo "In the Eye of the Sun" (4-29-12 11816v2a), and for anyone who also visits my photo blog, yes, this is a somewhat different version of the pic I posted there yesterday.]

PLEASE NOTE: in most browsers you can click on the above image for a larger version. Also, the photo accompanying a post is not necessarily meant to illustrate it, but to reflect some small, even slant aspect of the verse, similar to Japanese haiga (illustrated haiku).

There are many other sorts of posts on this blog. I indicate which are about or influenced by dreams. Some non dream focused posts are book reviews, "regular" poems (some by other writers, as the above is), scifaiku, writing exercises, Tarot haiku, photos, haiga, and so on. However, most of those are in much older posts. There's a listing by month going back to early 2006, at the end of the sidebar.

until next time, keep dreaming,
